Spirit Virtual Airlines was founded in 2015 by Ray and Mike. We wanted a VA that was flexible with pilots real world schedules and less micro-managing of pilots. We do require our pilots to fly 2 times a month and thats it! If you want to do more that is great. We do prefer our pilots's to fly on Vatsim, but if they don't, its no big deal. We are bringing you Spirit Virtual Airlines to the people who love to fly on VATSIM, Offline and who enjoy flying the larger aircraft A319, A320 & A321. All pilot applicants must have a vaild VATSIM ID, if you don't have one please Click here.

We simulate the real world Operations of Spirit Airlines as closely as we can in the United States and South America. Our flight routes will be updated each month and are based on Spirit Airlines real world flight data. We have a custom ACARS for all pilot reporting. You will be able to bid on real world routes within the custom Acars. Spirit Virtual Airlines flies to 83 destinations throughout Central America, the Caribbean, South America, and the United States.

As of May 2021, Spirit Virtual Airlines maintains crew bases at Atlantic City, Chicago–O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas & Orlando.
